QuantEcon.jl is a Julia package for doing quantitative economics.

Many of the concepts in the library are discussed in the lectures on the website quantecon.org.

Some examples of usage can be found in the examples directory, in the exercise solutions that accompany the lectures on lectures.quantecon.org, or in the notebook archive at quantecon.org.


To install the package, open a Julia session and type


This installs the QuantEcon package through the Julia package manager (via git) to the default Julia library location ~/.julia/vXX/QuantEcon.


Once installed, the QuantEcon package can by used by typing

using QuantEcon
