Matthew McKay¶
Matthew McKay is currently a Senior Software Developer in Economics for RSE, QuantEcon, and the Executable Books Project. His PhD was in computational development economics with applications to the evolution of country complexity using disaggregated international trade data. Matthew has research interests in development, international trade, and computational economics. With recent experience as a postdoctoral fellow, Matthew applies the field of computer science to the domain of economics with applications ranging from the development of domain specific software including code libraries to conduct advanced research in economics, to writing publishing software to make code and executability a first-class citizen in research workflows.
